I have always been fascinated by the human experience and the many nuances that come with it. One idea that has mainly stuck with me is the notion that being human involves enduring pain. At first glance, this might sound negative, but I believe that we become stronger and more resilient through experiencing and processing pain, whether it is emotional or physical. With my latest sculpture, I aimed to capture this idea while also exploring the subtleties of the human condition. As I continue to reflect on this piece, I am still learning from it, discovering new insights and perspectives that inform my ongoing creative practice.
